Welcome to TaxProtestKit. By accessing or using our website at taxprotestkit.com and purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Description of Service
TaxProtestKit provides property tax protest packages for Texas homeowners. Each package includes comparable sales data sourced from county appraisal district (CAD) records, a formatted protest document, filing instructions, and hearing preparation materials. Our service is informational only and does not constitute legal advice, appraisal services, or tax consulting.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a property owner (or authorized representative of a property owner) in the state of Texas to use our services.
3. Orders and Payment
- All orders are placed through our website and processed securely via Stripe.
- The standard fee is $79.99 per property. Optional rush delivery is available for an additional $49.99.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of your order is the price you pay.
- Each protest package is customized to a single property and is non-transferable.
4. Delivery
Standard orders are delivered within 48 hours. Rush orders are delivered within 24 hours. During peak season (April–May), standard delivery may take up to 72 hours. Packages are delivered electronically via email as a downloadable PDF.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your protest package for any reason, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
6. No Guarantee of Results
TaxProtestKit does not guarantee that your property tax protest will result in a reduction of your appraised value or tax bill. Outcomes depend on your specific property, local market conditions, and the decisions of your county's appraisal review board (ARB). Our packages are designed to give you the strongest possible evidence-based case, but results vary.
7. Not Legal or Appraisal Advice
Nothing provided by TaxProtestKit constitutes legal advice, tax advice, or a professional property appraisal. Our materials are informational and educational in nature. We recommend consulting a licensed attorney or appraiser if you need professional advice regarding your property taxes.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on taxprotestkit.com — including text, graphics, logos, and downloadable materials — is owned by TaxProtestKit and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
9. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing accurate property information when placing your order.
- You are responsible for filing your protest and attending any hearings.
- You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose.
- You agree not to resell, redistribute, or share your protest package with third parties.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TaxProtestKit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or savings. Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific protest package in question.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TaxProtestKit, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Travis County, Texas.
